This Titans Preschool Kickstart Program is specifically designed and run for children of preschool age taking into consideration ability, needs and development requirements. Introducing children to exercise and physical education in the early years, provides the necessary kickstart to a positive attitude to movement and active living. It is a unique program incorporating 3 elements or activities that are important and encourage physical development and skills: taekwondo, pilates and sports skills.
The program has been developed by a local sports and fitness club, Titans. Located in Diamond Creek, Titans has extensive experience in teaching children from the age of 4 years old, the martial art of taekwondo and other fitness related programs. Over the years, we have built a reputation as a club that focuses on developing and working with children at a grass roots level to incorporate not only physical activity into children’s lives, but enhance self-esteem, confidence and respect amongst the children themselves.
Every week, the programs focuses on a different behaviour, skills or element. The children receive recognition and encouragement for their efforts through a sticker and certificate based system that the children love and get to keep at the end. It is an inclusive program with participation for children of all abilities.

Titans taekwondo is a program for preschools aimed at introducing some of the core values and basic gross motor skills of martial arts to young children. We refer to these skills and values as FUN-damentals.
Taught in a safe and appropriate environment, taekwondo can building confidence, self-esteem, discipline and respect in children as well as improve their gross motor skills and coordination. Taekwondo as a sport teaches coordination, balance, flexibility and speed amongst other skills through hand and foot techniques on our pads, bags and other equipment
The Titans preschool Pilates program is a unique and excellent activity for children. Pilates improves posture and spinal alignment and increases the strength and flexibility of the abdominal and inner muscles of the body (the core).
Through Pilates, children can gain awareness of their body, how it works and learn how to move efficiently and gracefully. Pilates can help establish correct principles of movement that children will use for their entire lives.
